Opening our bottles:

Grip the bottle: Hold the base or body of the bottle firmly with one hand. 

Grip the cap: Place your other hand on the top, rotating part of the cap, ensuring you're not also gripping the lower, non-rotating portion. 

Twist in opposite directions: Turn the cap counter-clockwise while holding the bottle steady. The goal is to twist only the cap, not the entire screw-cap assembly, which can make it harder to open. 

Listen for the pop: You should hear a pop as the internal seal breaks.
